Photokina report VII: Cologne and a short résumé

Hello visitors,
now it comes: The last report-post from Photokina 2012 in Cologne. This was my first photography-fair, but I have too say it was UNBELIEVABLE! Every camera, every important pro, all the big companies, everything was there. I tried out middle-format and cameras like the D4; I never thougt that it will be so great. There were so much attractions, so much interessting things, I really enjoyed it! At this point I want to thank Mach das L for acommpanying me and for this great day. I cannot wait until 2014, I think this will be great again. Thank you for following my Photokina 2012 report and I´m saying good bye to Photokina until 2014! Photokina Report V: The Tamron-Show

Hello vistors,
next to the big Fuji booth was the Tamron booth. First I have to say, Tamron made a huge step this year. The last years Sigma was much better than Tamron, but this year they get nearly equivalent again, because Tamron announced new lenses, like the new 24-70mm or the 70-200mm VC. They wanted to party this, so there was a big show at Photokina, with dancers and live-shootings. Now you get to see some photos of the show:

Photokina Report IV: Nikon Booth

Hello visitors,

as you know I´m a really big Nikon fan. So the Nikon Booth was a big highlight for me. You were allowed to use every new Nikon camera, like the D600, the D800 or the Nikon 1 J2. You could try out really big tele-lenses like the 800mm f/5.6. And there was a place at the booth where you could try out high speed video and high speed shooting with a D800, really funny. There was a big stage too, on which a lot of professional photographers were talking, interessting too. But the best thing ever was a big heart of screens in the middle of the booth; you could take a photo with a "I AM" sentence and then you could see yourself on the screen. The Nikon booth was in hall 2.2, my photos follow here:

Photokina Report III: The Hasselblad-Shooting

Hello visitors,
at the Photokina Hasselblad hosted a photoshooting with a professional modell. You were allowed du borrow a Hasselblad H4D. Of course I did, but you won´t see the photos, because the Hasselblad only takes CF-cards and I only had SD-cards… but the memories stay with me! And it´s really good although Leica S is my favourite. So this photos are taken with my D5100 and the 18-200mm with my SB700. Have fun ;)
One tipp: Never try out a Hasselblad: Afterwards you don´t want to have your camera anymore, becaus you would KILL FOR an Hasselblad, although having a Hasselblad will be a dream forever :(

Photokina Report II: Highlights

Hello visitors,
I wasn´t only at Photokina to shoot playmates, but I informed myself about technic novelties and I tested out products. Every visitor had the chance to test out every product, even some products way out of my money-class, like the Hasselblad H5D. Some interesting Events happened, too. Informations about the products and events here:

The unbelievable fast, fantastic Sigma 200-500mm f/2.8

The unbelievable light intense and huge lens, the fastest of his class. Problem: Costs of 26.000€ and a huge weight.

The Sigma 10-20mm, which I want to buy

Olympus OMD-EM5, unbelievable good system camera

The Olympus is better than some DSLRs. The performance and the quality is amazing! Buy it!

Hasselblad H5D, new middle-format camera of the swedish company Hasselblad

I tried out one H4D, really interessting, but more in the next post.

Leica S, my absolut highlight

In my oppinion this is the best camera at the moment. It´s cheaper, lighter bust still better than the Hasselblad. It has an unbelievable quality. But you have to pay 22.000€ just for the body.

Photokina Report I: Playboy-Shooting

Hello visitors,
on saturday there was a special Playboy-shooting by CHIP Foto Video at the Photokina. Mach das L and me got the chance to shoot the playmates with a professional photographer and a professional light-equipment. One part of the photos here, all shooted with my D5100, the 18-200mm with the exposure f/8 1/125s and the light/flash-equipment:
